About

portrait of Denver architecture photographer, McCory James

My fascination with architecture started during my first visit to New York City when I was 12. The sight of the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building left an indelible mark, forever inspiring me with their beauty. Ever since, I've reveled in the interplay of shapes and lines within structures.

When I became a professional photographer in my mid-twenties, architectural photography seamlessly blended with my passion for storytelling through the lens. Over two decades later, I still count myself blessed to capture the remarkable creations of architects.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring with my wife, Kelly and two teenage boys, Landon & Carson, whether it's camping in the mountains, hiking a scenic trail or discovering a new city together. Iā€™m actively engaged in my church community and I'm an avid supporter of the Nuggets and Rapids.
